Hello and welcome to the WV Carpenter.
The WV Carpenter is the doorway for information for members, contractors, and carpenters working in the mountain state. The West Virginia District of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters is a great place to live and work. We have thousands of members here working in our state and seeing the benefit of our Union in their lives. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters is a portion of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America or more commonly called the Carpenters Union.
The West Virginia District represents both Carpenters and Millwrights.
The Carpenters in West Virginia perform in a variety of markets. We work in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets. We have general carpenters, floor layers, pile drivers, interior system workers, heavy and highway workers, and more specialties.
The Millwrights are a very specialized craft that perform their work with highly sensitive equipment and perform much of their work on machinery like turbines. Laser alignment and other highly specialized tools are their everyday call.
